Two characters meet and unite through music and movement. They play with and for one another drawing the audience into their absorbing, dancing world full of poetry and sound.

The room, filled with the gliding and simultaneously pulsating sound of the ar- chaic Buk (a barrel drum), is also played with by the artiste from high above.

upside down ..... combines both theatre und air acrobatics to produce an imaginative spectacle taking place between heaven and earth. At the centre of attention is the old, yet again always new story of man encountering woman.

The combination of this Asian instrument with Western circus and theatrics bestows this performance its unique- ness.
